And no, that isn’t a typo. There wasn’t a whole lot of standardization in the spelling of these various garments. Redingote/rodingotte/reddingotte/roddingotte are some of the spellings of this garment just from Gallerie des Modes. Regardless of how you spell it, it is a mighty fine outfit.
